Welcome back to another Wednesday’s Closet Tips! I’m so excited to share this weeks tips from my favorite thrift store, Goodwill.
Y’all know I love thrifting and my home is filled with old and new finds. Some of my favorite accessories are the ones where I SCORE big time. When I go thrifting, I’m usually on the hunt for vintage, antiques and collectibles so when I go to Goodwill, the clothing section is an after thought but today was different. As I was making a” bee hive” to the household section, I caught a glimpse of this animal print dress hanging on a rack.
You know I love animal print so the animal lover in me decided to take a closer look and “low and behold,” it still had the original tags dangling from the sleeve.
It was my size and the label read Diane Von Furstenberg, 100% silk, for the bargain price of $6.49 can you say DESIGNER SCORE?! I kept browsing to find this gorgeous geometric print dress for $6.49.
After this, my adrenaline ignited and before I knew it, I’d gone through the entire dress section.
My last find is this pretty grey shift dress with a black laced neckline for $4.49. I added this belt which I already own for a little sass action. Tip– use accessories to complete your look.
A good cleaning is all these dresses need because they are in perfect condition.
Thrifting for fashion is a great way to create the look you want on a budget. The next time you get the urge to shop for a new outfit, check out your local thrift store first. You are sure to find a beauty at a bargain price.
Enjoy the hunt!
