I am so thrilled you loved Friday’s post on Kitchen Keeping with Sara at Sifting Through Life. Just in case you missed the post, check out Sara’s delicious Fruit Tart recipe she shared with us here. I can’t wait to bake one of those bad boys and after I read the directions, I believe I can master the art of French pastry cream. It’s sorta like

Banana pudding custard, the old fashion kind that my Mama use to make on top of the stove in her makeshift double broiler. Even if it doesn’t come outta the oven looking like Sara’s award winning creation, I’ll still share the results with you. This Fruit Tart would be perfect to serve with tea.

Serve desserts, snacks and tea. I pile a few plates, cups, napkins and utensils on my handy tea cart and roll it in the living room for my guest to enjoy. Tea Carts and Bar Carts are great accessories to have because they are so versatile and provide lots of storage without sacrificing a lot of real estate. I recently shared that I have four tea carts and I use them all over the house. Today I’m sharing how I’ve styled my tea carts and a few more ideas to inspire you.

Create a Spa Bath Cart. Here is my Spa Bath Cart for those days when I really need a long soak in the tub. I just roll the cart next to the tub, pour me a glass of bubbly and relax.

Entry Table.  I love to add fresh flowers in a pretty vase to my entry cart along with a few collectibles for a warm greeting. When I’m expecting company, I place a welcome note and make sure I leave room for guest  keys and essentials. The second shelf is great for storing ladies pocketbooks.
