There are so many things to love about fall! There’s football, festivals, fairs and memorable evenings gathered around the fire pit. Fall is also the time to snuggle up in your favorite blankie and sip on hot apple cider. I love fall because it’s normally not too hot or cold in Texas #fingerscrossed.
We spend lots of time on our southern porches and I make sure we have tons of throws and firewood for those cooler days and nights.

Every season has a special place in my heart and fall is no different so to welcome fall on our front porch, I’m keeping it simple and budget friendly by adding a few pumpkins and mums to my existing décor.

Changing seasonal décor can be elaborate or minimalistic and I’m going minimal this year.
Tip: Pumpkins and Mums are very budget friendly and add a punch of fall décor. Shop your local farmers market and chain stores for the best prices.

This big pumpkin came from Trader Joe’s For $2.99 and the tiny ones were .69 cents each. I didn’t go crazy with pumpkin fever, just a few and I’ve got fall y’all! Mums come in so many colors, it was hard to choose but I find yellow and white Mums to be more showy so I went for these white ones with a hint of yellow. Walmart has a great selection and for a good price.  #miniorangepumpkins #falldecor
Tip: Mix some faux fall flowers to your door wreath and pots.
I use this basket on my door for fall, spring and summer and switch out the faux flowers for each season. Easy peasy and cheap!

Tip: Keep throws inside just in case a little friend decides to use your throw as a winter hideaway.
I have a basket of throws right inside the door so all we do is grab one and head to our little spot on the porch.

Until next time,
Enjoy!
