My closet is ready for the fall and winter season, I’m just waiting on the weather to say it’s okay to pull out my boots, sweaters and jackets. I thought the summer was over when a cold front blew in a few days ago but before we knew it, we were back in shorts and flip flops.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not wishing for a winter blizzard, I just want to wear a couple of new pieces that have been hiding out in my closet. I guess I need to work on strengthening my patience since you can never predict our Texas weather.
Today, I’m wearing a black skirt. I have so many it’s shameful but there’s nothing like a black skirt or two or ten in your closet. They go with everything! This bell sleeve blouse is my new favorite item that I found on sale at White House Black Market.
I love 3/4 length sleeves and these sleeves are perfect for cooler mornings and won’t have you burning up in the afternoon.
These suede peep toe ankle strap sandals, I’ve had for two seasons and you’ve seen me wear them before on Wednesday’s Closet Tips. I love them for about five hours. After that, my footsies asked for a break and I oblige them with a pair of comfort shoes.
Tip: Keep a pair of comfortable shoes, an outfit, extra undies and a sweater in the car at all times. It’s my first aid kit for comfort style.
I added this pretty gold and wine colored bracelet, some gold Kendra Scott earrings and a statement ring for the jewelry lover in me.
Until next time,
Enjoy!
