Now that all the Christmas decorations are packed away, the influx of guest popping in has ceased and the dust bunnies have settled in, I think it’s the perfect time to tackle my first home decor project for this year. I love our master bath and since we moved into our forever home, nine years ago, I really haven’t changed much.
A plant, a few accessories from other areas in the house and a fresh set of towels, just about does it for updating our master bath. My bestie, just

Renovated her entire bath. I’m talking a complete gut job and it’s absolutely stunning. This is what inspired me to spruce up our bathroom with a mini makeover. Y’all, let me start by saying “this is a refresh!” There are no funds in our budget for a renovated bath anytime soon but with a few tweaks here and there, I hope to have our master bath looking magazine worthy. #fingerscrossed!

I had second thoughts about sharing these “before” pics but what’s a refresh without a before and after? So here is our master bath dust bunnies and all.

Now, it’s time for the good stuff. I created this mood board by selecting my favorite pins on Pinterest.

When I put this mood board together, I focused on accessories to coordinate with my current wall color; Tumbleweed by Sherwin Williams. I hate painting and hiring a painter was out of the question. I’m mixing and matching metals and more.

My plan is to work on our bath over the next few weeks (this is not ORC) without any pressure or deadline. It’s not like I’m getting paid to refresh my bath!!!!

I’ll be back with updates on the project and the reveal so be sure and stay with me for all the details.

Until next time,

Enjoy
