Thank you so much for the sweet well wishes you sent us for our anniversary. We celebrated our 30th all weekend starting with a delicious meal at Eddie V’s, a seafood/steak restaurant. I can still taste the pleasure of the final course, Bananas Foster served tableside, fire and all. I was perfectly fine with a simple night out at one of our casual dives but hubby surprised me with reservations at Eddie V’s. Hubby said
“we celebrate once a year, let’s make it special” and you know I didn’t complain! Spring is next week and I’m running behind on refreshing the house with spring sightings so in between celebrating, I spruced up our coffee bar with bunnies and spring colors.


I love to change out the décor in my coffee station each season. Last fall, I pulled out my pumpkins and during the winter, we sipped on hot chocolate with whipped cream. This spring, I’ve created a continental breakfast station with our favorites and brought back my old bunnies and a new family member.

Decorating my coffee bar is so easy because I start with the same décor pieces; my three tiered stand, cake dome and coffee maker. I add seasonal décor from my stash of goodies and new bargain pieces I find during my treasure hunts. I found this adorable bunny for $2 bucks at the flea market and this abandoned birds nest in a watering can on my front porch. It’s perfect with unhatched eggs and some faux ones I added.

To create the breakfast station, I added instant oatmeal, fruit and nut toppings, muffins, scones and for an afternoon pick me up, I added colorful candy which is always a hit for the kids…young and young at heart. I’ve included a video with full details so don’t forget to watch.
