I hope y’all watched my insta-story over the weekend where I shared my thrifting trip to my local Goodwill and found fabulous bargains. If you missed it, be sure and hop over to my Instagram feed here to watch. Everything in the store was 50% off!

This sale happens once a month so be on the look out and get there when the doors open to beat the crazy crowds of serious thrifters. My blogging buddy, Shelly at Confetti Style is so jealous because her Goodwill store doesn’t  even have the stamp system where every time you spend $10 bucks you get a stamp and when you reach ten stamps you get $10 bucks off your next purchase. Sweet huh?! Texas #gotitgoingon! I really wanted the breakfast set with the leather tabletop for $25.00 but where was I going to put it? I don’t even have a breakfast area. Then the designer glass coffee table for $10.00 was a designers dream piece but again, it was too large for my home. I could picture it in a chic living area or sunroom.

I was determined to leave the store with something in my greedy little paws so I continued to browse and came across this metal planter with fleur de les imprints for $2.49. It’s perfect for my new succulent plant. One of my home décor projects this year is to refresh our master bath and I’m almost finished with this project. I knew this planter would be perfect in our master bath refresh.

I took a few more steps and spotted this blue and white monkey candy holder.

Monkey’s are not my favorite accessory to decorate with but I’ve been seeing these blue and white monkey’s on several design blogs so I thought I better add one to my collection for resale or gifting.

After my stop at Goodwill, I made my way over to the new flea market I’ve been frequenting lately and found this “Mersman” credenza for $20. They retail for $400 online.

This credenza has some pre-loved markings but imperfection has always been my thing. I’m thinking about painting it later but for now, I wiped it down with some Old English furniture polish and pushed it into my office. I’m refreshing my office space too and this piece is perfect for storage and holding my printer. Here is a sneak peek of my office and I’ll be back later this week to share the rest of my office spring refresh.

Until next time,
Enjoy!
