Hi Folks, thanks for dropping by during this festive season. I’ve been featuring different areas of our home decked out for the holidays and today, Queen Cleo and I are hanging out in the entry. We forgot to sweep off the front porch so excuse the fallen leaves. I love everything Christmas and I have an eclectic style to decorating with décor that makes me feel Merry.
I made these poinsettia topiary bouquets a few years ago using artificial stems. The urns hold my seasonal flowers so they are filled with dirt and I swap out real annual plants depending on the season. I decorate my kitchen with gingerbread and my dining area with poinsettia and a mix of old and new. Be sure to check out my previous post. Mr. Gingerbread is all decked out in his bow tie, candy cane and a smile to greet our guest as they arrive.
The moment you enter our home you see our dining area, tree and fireplace. This old armoire has been following me around for over 25 years and I just can’t seem to part with it. A few Christmas balls thrown in this iron ginger jar and red and green sprinkled here and there.
I love vintage and antiques so when my sissy asked me if I wanted this old rocker, I jumped at the chance to take it off her hands and I politely squeezed it in my entry and dressed it up with a winter scene throw. Y’all come back for a visit as I continue to share our holiday season with you.
Enjoy,
MJ
