Hey y’all! Have you missed me? I sure missed sharing MjonesStyle with you lately. I know I’ve been MIA but with good reason. Monday, May 21, in the wee hours of the night, I woke up with excruciating pain in my right side. My first thought was, “what’s going on now?” Hours later, I end up in the emergency room and after the staff calmed that devilish pain down with meds, I was informed that I had a kidney stone the size of a black-eyed pea trying to pass through my kidney and that wasn’t happening. Fast forward, I had surgery to open the passage area for the kidney stone to pass and now I am on the road to recovery, Praise God! If you’ve ever suffered from a kidney stone, you feel my pain and if you haven’t, I pray you never will. I’m much better now and I’m looking forward to getting back to what I love, blogging! May turned out to be a great month in spite of my minor set back and I’m excited to share the top five post in May just in case you missed the fun.
1) I partnered with RT Jewelry Creations, a handcrafted jewelry line featuring precious and semi-precious stone bracelets, earrings and ring designs. RT Creations sponsored this post but all opinions are 100 % my own. Please see my full disclosure statement here.
They also make custom orders to create your one of a kind designer piece. RT Jewelry Creations online shop features several of their top sellers including information on their products.

2) We are all celebrating graduations, weddings, and outdoor garden parties. This easy punch recipes with only three ingredients is super simple and feeds a crowd. I make a batch of this refreshing beverage for all my gatherings.

3) Spring cleaning was in the air in May and I cleaned the house then added lots of spring sightings in the kitchen without spending a whole lot of $moolah!

4) We celebrated Cinco de Mayo and my love for Mexican food with a batch of fajitas whipped up and baked off in a bowl of yum. All the goodness of fajitas without the tortillas, Ole!

5) Have you ever participated in a progressive dinner party? If you haven’t here’s the perfect spring soiree to kick off the warm season. I joined five party loving bloggers in our Spring Fiesta Progressive Blog Hop and we put together this fabulous party with all the fixins so you don’t have to plan a thing.

Home on Poplar Creek- appetizer//Positively Southern- tablescape//Viva La Vintage For Your Home- entrée//Atta Girl Says- Dessert//Confetti Style- host gifts
Just follow us while we create the affair of your dreams. We start with a refreshing Whiskey Lemonade and a watermelon appetizer to wet your whistle. We set a tablescape that is sure to please,  serve up a one pot chicken entrée and if this were not enough, we satisfy your sweet tooth with a margarita icebox pie drifting on a graham cracker cloud. For the final touch, no southern host would be caught dead without a proper host and thank you gift so we created the cutest garden basket of goodies for your guest or to take as a gift.

I’m looking forward to June, the warmer temps, vacations and lots more to share from MjonesStyle.

Until next time,

Enjoy!
