I vote for three day summer weekends and all those who agree say “I!” There wasn’t enough hours for me to fit in all the stuff I had planned over the weekend but I managed to find time to drop in at my local Goodwill on Saturday and for those of you who follow me on Instagram, you saw me in a “brawl” over this amazing find.

Here’s how it all went down! I’m cruising down the aisle and pause because the clerk was rolling out a basket of new items to store on the shelves when this lady #mycompetition stops her dead in her tracks. I’m just inches from the cart so I peek inside and spot the prize, a glorious Kitchen Aid stand mixer but I’m not close enough to place my greedy hands on it.

My competition asked “how much?” “$15 bucks, the clerk exclaims and the tug of war was on. In all honesty, the lady had her hands on it first so being the southern lady that I am, I tried to work a deal by offering her more money. She knew the score she had and wouldn’t bite. I stalked her around the store hoping she’d have buyers remorse before buying but no such luck. I was determined to find me a bargain and while I was having my pity party, I looked up and spotted this Arthur Court water pitcher and all was well.

This pitcher is perfect for my upcoming Vintage Craft Fair in October. Isn’t she a beauty?

I’ve fallen in love with ironstone pitchers and small tableware so when I spotted these coffee mugs for .49 cents a piece, I grabbed all six.

These mugs make perfect coffee companions. They are small, thick and keep your coffee very hot.

…and for a little icing on the cake, this cute creamer. Too freakin adorable!

You never know what you may find thrifting and that’s the fun of it all.

Until next time,

Enjoy!
