Whew! I made the deadline for the Merry and Bright Holiday Home Tour finale! Y’all, this blog hopping tour business comes with a lot of instructions and I don’t always read the fine print so my lack of following details has me scrambling at the last minute. No pressure, #nailbiter.  Thanks for all the wonderful praise for Part 1. We love knowing that you are enjoying our content.
If you are catching up, click here for last weeks tour. I will include a list of the participating bloggers at the end of this post.

When Shelly at Confetti Style invited me to join her Merry and Bright Holiday Home Tour four years ago, I was so honored, especially since I didn’t know squat (#stilllearningthelingo) about blogging. I had gotten my fingers wet in blogland and I was ready to join the fun.

My favorite thing about blogging is meeting creative individuals all over the globe. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting Wendy at Farmhouse Therapy through Instagram and I’m delighted she’s joined the tour this year. I hope you are here after visiting her cozy cottage tucked away near a frozen lake in Michigan, brrrrr. I’m sure you loved Wendy’s beautiful farmhouse vibe with eclectic touches throughout.
Thanks for dropping in to see how I’ve set my dining table for the holidays.

My theme this year is Victorian Vintage and this idea came when I decided to use my Old Country Rose china for my place settings. I wanted to add a pop of pink to my abundance of red and green so when Boho Luxe Home agreed to sponsor this years Merry and Bright Holiday Home Tour again, I jumped at the chance to incorporate some of their luxurious global influenced textiles into my tablescape. It only took one glance at their pattern swatch, Ashes of Roses/Burgundy to know I wanted to showcase my Victorian Vintage table with this gorgeous fabric.

To get double duty out of my table runner, I had Boho Luxe Home make the runner reversible with navy blue velvet fabric on the opposite side.

Kelly and Melanie travel the globe in search of unique interiors for their clients. The selection of textiles are vibrant in color and texture and are perfect for table linens, upholstery, bedding, accessories and more. Boho Luxe Home also offers their signature textile patterns in peel and stick wallpaper so be sure and visit their website for the complete line of products.

I love incorporating wrapping paper in my tablescapes. This role of paper with “pink” snowflakes adds just the right amount of texture for only $3 bucks!

The center piece starts with a 5ft. garland adorned with red poinsettias. I added two ribbons together and intertwined them into the garland.

These ornaments are a mix of the same ones used on my fireplace mantel.

No table is complete without candlelight and these vintage milk glass vases and candle holders add a romantic touch to make everyone look amazing. The teacup and saucers are purposely sitting in a whimsical way throughout the garland.
Each place setting starts with a gold charger, dinner plate and these transferware dessert plates I found at Salvation Army for a steal.

I wish I could take credit for these starched to perfection handmade vintage napkins but they came “as is” and at a bargain price of $10 for twelve napkins.#linennapkin #mjonesstyle Crystal napkin rings, goblets and chocolate truffles round out my holiday table because who doesn’t love a good bite of chocolate and the sound of clinking crystal before dinner?!

Thanks for taking the tour of my holiday tablescape. The next stop on the tour is Kate at Chic On A Shoestring Decorating. Kate is thrilled to invite you into her lovely home. Have a very blessed holiday season from my heart and home to yours.

Until next time,
Enjoy!
