On our last visit to Paris, France, I booked our stay at an Airbnb outside the city. I wanted a place that offered all the amenities of home including a washer and dryer, full kitchen and easy access to the city without breaking the bank.
I found the perfect place, at least I thought I had until we arrived and discovered the flat was on the third floor at the top of a narrow winding staircase. At first, I thought, “this will work, we can do this, the location is great and the flat had everything we needed,” until a few hauls up and down the stairs. I finally realized a week of huffing and puffing our way to a place to lay our heads after a day of riding the metro and walking the city was not going to work so I went in search of an affordable French Boutique Hotel with all the perks of a fantasy stay in Paris.

To my sweet surprise, up pops The Orient Hotel. I couldn’t believe I found such a jewel at a price I could live with. We packed our grip and moved to The New Orient Hotel for the remainder of our vacation. The New Orient Hotel is located right in the middle of everything.
A short stroll to the metro included passing all sorts of eye candy like the French Opera House, Champs Elysees, and plenty of sidewalk cafe’s to sit and enjoy a cup of café o lait. Ooh la la is all I could say on my way to several adventures. This hotel has everything you need from a welcoming concierge staff, library, breakfast, wifi, air conditioning and a lift located on the second floor to access the bedrooms. 
The best treat about The New Orient Hotel is the architecture. I’m guessing the building is at least 100 years old by the doors, ceilings and craftsmanship.
They made every effort to spare the history of the building during the renovation. The hotel is filled with antiques, art and beautiful vintage finds throughout.
Breakfast is served on the main floor and the well appointed library boast all sorts of books and magazines for your pleasure.
Our room was located in the inner circle of the hotel overlooking the gardens.
We slept with our windows opened at night to take in the sweet smell and sound of Paris.

My first must have cup of morning coffee was extra special from this view and the icing on the cake for a spectacular stay in the city of lights.
