This post is for gadget lovers like me who can’t get enough of adorable things that make great conversation pieces. I’m so excited to share this little amazing kitchen helper with you, I can hardly contain myself. I know you will be placing your order as soon as you read this post. This gadget is called a gourmet handmade Provincial Garlic Grater, and they are hand-crafted in the Cordoba Province of Spain. My sissy loves gadgets too, and couldn’t resist buying two, one to share with me while attending the International Quilt Show in Houston, TX.

The information on the certificate of authenticity states that each gourmet grater is thrown, pressed, and painted by hand. They are then triple-glazed, and fired at over 1,000 degrees Celsius. The grater has a five year warranty which covers the glazing and grating surface. The grating teeth are guaranteed to stay sharp and not wear out nor dull. The instructions for use are also on the certificate and include using the peeler to peel the garlic by placing the garlic inside the peeler and rubbing the tube between your hands. This process removes the skin like a charm. Just follow the instructions by rubbing the garlic over the grater, and you will soon have the purest finest garlic paste ever.


The certificate also provides instructions on other uses like grating other hard root vegetables, hard cheese, spices and fine chocolates. It is absolutely “cute as a button.”
