My Crock Pot is my friend in the kitchen. First, it keeps my hubby from burning the house down and second, I can throw a few ingredients in the crock, flip the switch to on and go about my day knowing that dinner is on its way. Folks, pull out your Crock Pots and create more meals at home for a fraction of the cost of eating out.

Here is my recipe for Pork Steak and they are perfection. I started this dish for Sunday dinner on Saturday night. I checked the pot Sunday morning before leaving for Sunday Service and noticed that a secret admirer had tasted the results during the night. When I returned, I discovered the pot had been attacked again, but this time with a hungry vengeance and practically all the contents were gone. I almost lost my religion right there in the kitchen and to think, I just came from church. They barely left enough for me to photograph let alone taste. Donald, Reggie (a family friend) and Aaron, calmed me down by ranting and raving about how flavorful and tender the steaks were. I had to smile when I took another look at the bottom of the pot. It was soooo good.

Enjoy,

MJ
