My trip to Atlanta, Georgia was filled with non-stop dining pleasure. We nibbled our way through the city and found some great eateries to share with you. I seek out places to eat that are unique to the city I’m visiting and I found a few that are a must if you’re traveling to ATL, the native reference to their “Haute” city. The best thing about traveling is the opportunity to eat and leave the dishes behind. I love a home cooked meal but I take advantage of being the guest when I’m not at home. You must try a cheesecake from CheeseCaked. We happened upon this tiny bakery while strolling through the mall.

What a clever idea. They make miniature cheesecake layered with real cake served cupcake style. They are “cute as a button” and so delish. They sell their goods all over the city. They are located in The Mall at Peachtree Center.

For lunch, we met friends and family at Vortex Bar and Grill for one of their famous burgers. I had The Blue Shroom Burger because I love mushrooms on my burger. Their menu is filled with hilarious tips on things you need to know while dining. The menu alone is worth the experience. Pre-select your burger here.
