Let me just start by saying I do NOT like cold weather; period! I know that’s sounds weak but I’m being honest and since I know Mr. Freeze and I don’t get along, I’m always prepared by keeping a stash of throws, sweaters, hats and gloves in my car. I even bring extra for my friends that way everyone has their own so there’s no sharing required. We normally have pretty mild winters in Texas but the last three years have been unpredictable with snow, sleet and ice so when I noticed the trees were budding I said hallelujah, spring is on the way and I started taking an inventory of my spring decor for the house.

I surfed through Pinterest and my favorite bloggers and found some really cute inspirational ideas. I love to copy chat when I find things that inspire me and you can too. Take a look at my front porch. I got the idea to incorporate vintage galvanized steel objects from one of my favorite bloggers, jennasuedesign. Jenna has a gorgeous home and I love her style.#vintage chair#spring entry#vintage pastel egg wreath#ceramic bunnies#galvanized bucket#front entry #lanterns
The best part about my design is that I already had most of these items around my house. I just went on a scavenger hunt and within hours, I created a spring welcoming entry. I gathered a few pots and filled them with spring flowers. I found this “Simplify” sign at my go to store, Home Goods. They need to hire me as an ambassador as much as I plug them on my blog. Mmmm… I hope my little touch of Spring will inspire you to spring into decorating your home for this wonderful time of year.

Enjoy,
MJ
