Come on down to Fort Worth, TX and make sure you don’t leave without a southern style scratch breakfast at Lucile’s Stateside Bistro on the Westside of town. When I saw this restaurant, I knew I had to stop for a meal simply because it’s my Mama’s namesake. My Mama spelled her name with two “L’s” but I will forgive them for that minor typo since they have scrumptious food and the atmosphere pays homage to a vintage décor and y’all know I love all things vintage.  

The building was built in the late twenties and housed two landmark restaurants before Lucile’s opened its doors in 1993. Since then, they have been serving up some of the best Bloody Mary’s, oven pizza and fresh seafood in Fort Worth. I love their breakfast too, especially the Eggs Benedict and crunchy bacon. You can even order your hash browns crispy like French fries.

Lucile’s also serves daily specials and feature lobster, shrimp and crawfish when in season. I had Eggs Benedict with bacon and spinach. Donald had a lot of everything including a bite off my plate. Be sure to mosey on down to the cobblestone streets of Fort Worth and stop in at Lucile’s for a heck of a meal.
