Wow! I can’t believe this month marks a year of blogging since the launch of my new web design. The first year of blogging was a trial year to determine if blogging was in the cards for me. I started with a cheap $89.00 website that was extremely limited but it was enough for me to catch the blog fever and I haven’t turned back. I truly love to share my inspirational ideas on entertaining, cooking, gardening, traveling and life as I live it, with you. I find myself dreaming of tons of stuff to write about. The ideas just keep coming and I pray that they will continue to flow so that I may share them with you and fill you with encouragement to create your own style of living and loving life. After so many trials and out right “uh I don’t know moments,” I think I got the hang of this blogging mecca. I’m not perfect and I’m glad about that because what creative mind is ever perfect? I’m still learning every day and I want to thank my mentor, Shelly from www.confettistyle.com for accepting my request to guide me through my blogging pains.

I reached out to Shelly just by chance and ask her if she would mentor me and without a thought she said “of course.” I don’t think she knew what she was getting into but her kindness has truly been a blessing to me. Shelly is a great blogger and exceptional interior designer. Please check out her blog here and be sure to subscribe to her site for innovative ideas on interior design and much, much more. I want to thank all my blogging sisters who have helped me with the techy side of blogging and I will continue to reach out to you when I need a lifeline. Your kindness and support has been the fuel I needed to dig deep into my creative spirit. To my followers, a “BIG” southern  thanks for your gentle comments which inspire me every day. I can’t thank y’all enough for all the love. May you continue to be a blessing in my life as I pray that I am, in yours. I will be celebrating the entire month of June by re-capping some of the most popular post. Let me know which ones are your favorite and I will be sure and include them as well.

Here are some of my recipe post which were a hit. Several of you have tried them at home and even corrected me when I left out a measurement or two. Thanks, and keep me on my toes. I have a few years and grey hairs but luckily no wrinkles; yet.
