#sweeticedtea
Thank goodness it’s Friday. I have had a very busy week and I am looking forward to a relaxing weekend. Relaxing to me is doing what I love, like working in the yard, playing faux interior designer in my home and treasure hunting for great bargains. I don’t have a “To Do” list, spoiling my plans for having a fun time over these next precious two days. Oops, I forgot I have to make a Peach Cobbler for my friends birthday but after that, my kitchen will be closed. Since the temperature is predicted to be in the 90’s, I’ll need a glass of sweet iced tea to wet my whistle. Sweet tea to a southerner is like milk to a baby…and since I’m a southern girl, I’ll have my pitcher filled with refreshing “southern milk” for cooling down while I’m working in the yard.

I love regular sweet tea but here are a couple variations for you to try. My favorite is Lemonade Sweet Tea. It reminds me of the delicious fresh squeezed lemonade my daddy use to make for us as kids. Have a wonderful weekend and meet me back here next week for more mjonesstyle.
