My neighbor, Mr. Green Thumb aka Dale, has a peach tree that produces enough peaches to open a fruit stand and he shares his bounty with “little ol’ me”. Go ahead and hate because I’m sure I would be envious of anyone in my shoes.

Dale’s tree, harvest a bounty of the juiciest mouth-watering peaches in Parker County and that’s saying a mouthful since Parker County has been hosting the Peach Festival in Weatherford, Texas for thirty years. This year marks the 31st celebration when every peach lover far and near make their way to the historic town square and take part in every kind of peach concoction, one can create.

The festival is always held on the 2nd Saturday in July (July 11, 2015) and the tickets are $5.00 per person. You can get all the information about the festival here. Now let’s get back to my prize peaches. I make sure I secure my sack of peaches from Dale’s tree because I discovered he loves Peach Cobbler. I make him a cobbler filled with the peaches from his tree. I know that’s sneaky but what the heck, I’m only using my skills sets and there’s nothing wrong with that. Look at these Peeeches Dale brought to my door step.
#peaches#peachcobbler#icecreamMmmmm!!! I can smell the nectar bubbling in the oven. Try my famous Peach Cobbler recipe here and since Dale promised me more peaches, I found this peach ice cream recipe here  to make during the hot summer days ahead. Are you a peach lover?
