#tomatobasilmozzarellaskewers
I look forward to the second Tuesday of every month because that’s when the ladies in my neighborhood get together, have fun and do absolutely nothing for two hours. We fill our bellies and wet our whistle with easy store bought goodies and adult beverages. Most of the ladies have caught on to what I’ve been doing all along, which is swinging by the market for some delicious yum then transferring the yum to a lovely serving dish. If the mood or time permits, a homemade creation will make its way to the table but no one cares as long as there’s something to munch on. This is my kind of party; no stress, no mess and little cost.

The host simply opens her home and serves a non-alcoholic beverage and the guests bring a covered yum and their own adult beverage. I hosted the night out a few months ago. If you missed that post, check out the spread we feasted on here. We had a blast and I threw in a game of LCR (Left, Right, Center) for a little rivalry. Here are a few items that made their way to the table and our tummies at our last meeting of the mindless.
#flipflopsandwiches#appetizer
How about these adorable flip-flop sandwiches made by a show off? Just kidding, we loved them and they are easy to make. Just use a flip-flop cookie cutter, two thin strips from a cucumber to make the straps and half a grape tomato for the button.
The seven layered dip above was delicious. I found a similar recipe on Pinterest for you to try.

#deviledeggs Here is my Deviled Eggs recipe which was my contribution to the par-tea! I hope this inspires you to open your home to an easy party that cost pennies.
Ingredients:
7 eggs hard boiled
2 tbs. Mayonnaise
1 tbs. Mustard
2 tbs. Sweet Relish
Dash Hot Sauce
Dash White pepper
Paprika, fresh herbs and capers for garnish

Directions:
Peel eggs immediately after draining the boiling water and cooling the eggs off with cool water. Cut eggs and remove the yolk. Place the yolk in a mixing bowl and the shells on a tray. Mash the yolks with a fork. Add mayo, mustard, relish, hot sauce and pepper. Mix eggs until smooth and creamy. Add a little more of the ingredients if needed. Transfer filling to a piping bag or use a spoon to fill the shells. Garnish with paprika, capers and fresh herbs (I used Tarragon from my herb garden)
