keep calm

Thank Goodness It’s Friday! Even though this has been a short week with the holiday on Monday, there seems to be a relaxed vibe when you’ve made it to Friday’s finish line. I know weekends can be just as busy but I always seem to squeeze in a nap or a fun adventure before the Monday alarm goes off and that’s what happened one weekend when I was out junking and this tea cart caught my eye. I have a tea cart and I love the convenience of carting it around the house to serve tea or display happies but somehow, I let the hubs borrow it to use as a desktop for his laptop and he must have misunderstood me when I said “borrow”…My tea cart has been turned into a permanent side table positioned right next to his recliner. He has conveniently filled the three shelves with his personal items including the remote controls. I’ve been looking to replace my confiscated tea cart for some time. When I spotted this one tucked away in a corner, it was love at first sight and the bargain basement price, secured a new place in my home for this art deco diva.  #teacart#artdecoteacart
I spent an entire morning gathering goodies from around my home to dress it up properly. Afterwards, I sent a picture of what I thought was a designer’s touch to my Sissy for her approval and she responds with her design services. Her words precisely were “that cart is really junky; let me offer my designing expertise.” She knows I love a challenge, so I’ve decided to solicit your vote on which tea cart design is your favorite. Please leave me a comment so I can share the results with my Sissy.

I’ll be back next week with stories on my adventures from The Vintage Market Days being held this weekend at South Fork Ranch, home of J.R. Ewing. Have a super weekend.
