Hi Honeybuns, I hope you had a grand turkey day with lots of fantastic food, family, and friends. My family started rolling in last Tuesday and by the time everyone arrived, my home went from a measly twosome to a whopping 22 hungry mouths and I couldn’t be happier. I know I’ve been MIA, but I had two choices, blogging which was my first choice or turn on my double oven and get the 2015 Thanksgiving marathon in the books. You should see my dishpan hands, they feel like Brillo Pads. I have to thank my family for all their help in the kitchen. I keep reminding them that I’m getting older and one day my apron will be hanging in the Thanksgiving Hall of Fame. They think I’m joking but I’m REAL serious.
Now that all that cooking is behind me, let’s dive into my favorite time of the year; Christmas. I am so overjoyed to announce that I will be participating in The Merry and Bright Holiday Home Tour which will debut this Wednesday.

What an honor to be featured with such fantastic bloggers. I’m a barrel of nerves thinking of how I’m going to pull this off in two days!!! The tornado that passed through my home ( house guest ) the last few days, left my house in total disarray!  I’ll be pulling all-nighters over the next couple days to get my Merry and Bright…on.
