Oh my! I’m so thrilled you are back for round two of our Merry and Bright Holiday Home Tour. Hopefully, you just finished your first cup of brew while noseying around Amy’s beautiful home at Amy Howard Social. Wow! I love her entertaining space. Participating in this tour has been the delight of my holiday season. I’m so thankful that Shelly from Confetti Style and Kellie from Design Asylum invited little ol’ me to join their tour. Welcome back to my place, now pause and fill that Christmas mug because I have a laundry load of pictures to share with you. Smile, at lease you are not doing laundry…

Okay, let’s start in my dining room. Well, technically, it’s my family room turned dining space. The runner on my table is wrapping paper. I normally dress my table with a cloth but I thought I’d try a different touch and I’m loving it.

My place setting is a collection of this and that from my tableware goods. #merryandbrighthometour#christmasdecor#merryandbrighthometour#christmasdecor#merryandbrighthometour#christmasdecor#merryandbrighthometour#christmasdecor
The chargers came from the dollar store and my china is Royal Albert Country Rose. My mama started my collection years ago and I still love the pattern because it goes with every season. The salad plates are vintage. I found them at my favorite antique store for $2 bucks each. I gathered the greens from my forest out back. We have tons of cedar trees. Look at the beautiful berries the cedars produce. My home smells so Christmas-y. I snipped a few sprigs from my rosemary bush to place on the plates. #merryandbrighthometour#christmasdecor#merryandbrighthometour#christmasdecor#merryandbrighthometour#christmasdecor
My sissy made the table runner and napkins. The runner has beautiful poinsettias on the other side. I wanted the poinsettia side showing but it was a hot mess with all the other action I have the table, so I flipped it and that little change, calmed the table down a bit.

My flatware is a collection of mix and match. When I’m thrifting, I look for pieces to add to my stash. I love to decorate with fabric, especially during the holidays. I keep a collection of remnants to add a little sass to my décor. The green fabric on the credenza and washstand is embellished with a scrollwork design. The cedar chest, built by my daddy, displays the artwork of Scottie Snider on the pillow.#merryandbrighthometour#christmasdecor#merryandbrighthometour#christmasdecor#merryandbrighthometour#christmasdecor#merryandbrighthometour#christmasdecor
I use my island as additional overflow seating and for me and the hubs when we want to have a casual dining experience…which is most nights.#merryandbrighthometour#christmasdecor#merryandbrighthometour#christmasdecor
