Thank you for your kind words of encouragement from yesterday’s Merry and Bright Holiday Home Tour.  If you are catching up with the tour, please check out part-1 and part-2. We are so excited to share our homes with you in hopes that you will be inspired and pick up a few tips, bargain finds and DIY projects along the way. This year, I added a beverage station to my kitchen area and I stocked it with an assortment of hot beverages to wet our whistles during the holidays.

My sissy made this adorable tea towel for me.

I am a coffee attic and my hubs can vouch for that when I haven’t had my first and only cup in the morning. We like to refer to it as “I’m not open for business” before that first cup of caffeine energy. I like tea in the afternoon. No, I’m not British but a cup of tea to “carry on” is my afternoon treat. #hotchocolate#hotchocolate#hotchocolate
I made a cup of hot chocolate and ask the hubs to share the cup since he is a diabetic. Then, I made the mistake of asking him to share the same cup so we won’t have an extra dirty dish. Well, that didn’t go over very well. Do you see the size of this cup? It’s dainty which is not in his DNA. I compromised and let him have his own cup but I kept the marshmallows and chocolate chips…shhh
