I hope your Christmas was Merry! I sure enjoyed my lazy day of lounging around in my pj’s and grazing on Christmas brunch all day. We opened gifts around 2 o’clock, after waiting for Aaron to take his own sweet time coming home. I remember when he had us up at the crack of dawn opening his gifts from Santa and we’d been on Santa watch half the night. My my, how times have changed. Aaron loves to pass out the gifts under the tree so this year I decided to be a little naughty and pin his one big gift on the tree. I have to say he was a real sport opening up undies, toiletries and socks. I finally ask him if there was anything in the tree and he lit up like a Christmas tree once he eyed his gift. Between naps, I browsed the after Christmas sale ads and found a few of my favorite shops having rock bottom prices on their goods. I made plans to fight the crowds the day after Christmas to check out these bargains.
How can you pass up 40%-75% off the sales price??? I love White House Black Market and they were on their “A” game with lots of sales staff at your beck and call and sale prices up to 70% off plus $20.00 off your whole purchase if you spent $100.00. SOLD!!! I picked up a couple tunics and my all-time favorite Ponte pants.
Then I moseyed on down to Francesca’s, another favorite shop of mine and scored 40% off their sweater jackets. I asked the sale assistant if the 40% off was in addition to the markdown price. When she said “yes” I said “honey, hush your mouth.” My southern slang was in full swing.
After scoring at my first two stops, I poked my head in Bath and Body Works and they are kicking off their semi-annual sale with prices up to 75% off. This is the best room spray ever and I stocked up on these bad boys.
My final stop was Anthropologie, another one of my love crush stores. Some of their home goods are 50% off like these gorgeous plates. They are no longer online but you can pick them up at the store while supplies last.
These bottle trees were on sale too and they’ve been a big hit this Christmas and in blogland.
