Football is on the brain of every man and wo-man in America. It’s Super Bowl Sunday and the end to the official football season. I know everyone loves football but in Texas, football is a religion. I grew up in the small town of Longview, TX. On game day, we closed the town down at noon and every man, woman and child made their way to the 7:30p kickoff.

Our team, the Lobos, was the team to beat and we still have a reputation of beating up on our competition. Okay, I sound like a wild fan. I love sports but I am over the top competitive so I can’t even watch most sports without turning into a crazy fan. Instead, I wait on the results and enjoy the food from the potluck goodies and drinks.
