Hey Friends; I’ve been feeling under the weather the last couple days. The devil is busy! I have great plans this weekend for a girls get-a-away and this bug hit me on Monday night. I’m determined not to let this spoil my trip so I went to the doctor. Good news…it’s not the flu just some nasty virus. I told the doctor to give me a shot for a quick fix. I’m old school and a penicillin shot is just what we ordered back in the day. I also started my antibiotics so I should be fit as a fiddle come Friday. These tips were shot on Easter Sunday so don’t think I’m all dressed up like this today. I’ll share today’s outfit next time.

I’m wearing a wrap dress with a tee. It was downright cold so I added a cardigan sweater. I would have preferred a spring color but I didn’t have a color to compliment my bonnet.


What do you think of my birthday present from the hubs? I know he wanted me to have this matching earrings and necklace set and he didn’t even have to go shopping. I took care of that chore for him. You’ve seen me wear these pumps before, they are really comfortable.

Now for the icing on the cake; my Kentucky Derby show stopper Hat. I had some trouble seeing and hugging but that’s what hat wearing is all about.
