I have been suffering from a mean bug that hit me the day after Easter and keeps bugging the heck out of me. I’ve finished all my meds and I’m still not a 100% better. Thank you so much for your prayers. My appetite is coming back and these Ham and Cheese Sliders do the trick every time.

I ask myself, why are sliders so yumptious? Who ever thought of making mini sandwiches, gets a big Smooches from me. These sliders make the top of the list in my book and I think you will agree. Have a happy day and a slider!

Makes 24 Sliders (I made 22 because the hubs ate two rolls while I was sleeping!)

Ingredients:
2 packages Hawaiian Bread Rolls cut in half
24 thin ham slices
12 slices of Swiss cheese cut in half
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened
4 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
2 teaspoons onion powder
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a medium size bowl, mix butter and cream cheese. Heat in microwave just until softened. Add mustard, onion powder and Parmesan cheese. Mix well. Lightly grease a large baking dish with the butter spread. Set aside. Brush the bottoms of the bread with the spread. Add a slice of ham; making sure you pile the ham on top of the bread. Add 1/2 of the Swiss cheese and place the top of the bread on the cheese to form the slider. Place the sliders in the prepared baking dish. Brush the tops of the sliders with the remaining spread. Bake for 20 minutes or until cheese is melted and tops of the sliders are slightly crisp and golden brown.
