#falltablescape
Friday and Fall…Oh yes! I’m saying yes because it still feels like July in Texas and TGIF is always a treat. It’s way too hot to buy pumpkins not to mention the disaster I had with the Cinderella pumpkins from last year’s tablescape. Those rascals

literally exploded while I was on vacation. They had my entire house smelling like a pig pen. I know T.M.I but when I received that phone call from Aaron informing me of the stench he discovered on the table and how he rolled up the pumpkins in my new vintage tablecloth and threw it in the dumpster, I couldn’t be angry. I’m just thankful I didn’t have to clean it up. Ugh!!!#falltablescape When it comes to setting the table, I like to mix and match my wares with things I already have. Once I shop my home, I add a few  touches to complete the look. Here is my tablescape all dolled up with a casual country twist.

Tips for setting a budget friendly tablescape:

Shop your home first.
Head outside and gather some nature like leaves, branches and such.
Mix and match your dinner and flatware. “Matchy-matchy” is no longer the rule.
Add fruit and fresh flowers.
