Thanks to October cooler temperatures, I got the urge or should I say time to pick up a few “real” pumpkins to decorate my front porch. If you’ve been following along with me on how I’m creating my fall festivities, you know why I don’t decorate with “real” pumpkins in the house, anymore. You can read all about the saga of last years “Pumpkin Pusaster” here. Have you seen the selection of pumpkins lately?

They are incredible, especially the fantasy ones and they are “Uh” high as a cat’s back (southern slang) pricy. I went for the tiny ones as to not put too much pressure on my pocketbook.

I created this look with a few pumpkins and silk stems for the basket on the door for under $25 bucks.
First, I went out back and found this old chair. I already had the throw and urn, which I turned upside down because I found some pesky mosquitoes hording inside. Those bloody rascals even like dirt!!!

The initial flag was in the front yard and needed a new home. I used this basket for my spring door décor and simply replaced a few spring silk stems for some fall color.

Now I’m ready for fall company. Come on in and have a cuppa on me.
