Oh boy! Thanks for joining us today. We can’t express how much we loved your comments on Part 1 of our Merry and Bright Holiday Home Tour! My fabulous blogging buddies, who teamed up for this tour, shared some ah-mazing spaces so just in case you are visiting for the first time, be sure to catch up on all the merriment here. The holiday season is the perfect time to doll up your space in style and we have lots of tips and entertaining ideas to ignite your creative spirit.
The most exciting thing about this tour is that you get a glimpse of eleven unique holiday home ideas plus mine and I will list the links below so you won’t miss any of the tour. I hope you enjoyed Yuni’s beautiful dining experience at Love Your Abode. I’m waiting on my invite (hint!)
I love dining al fresco even during the holiday season so let’s head out to the patio for dinner by the fireplace. No worries, I have plenty of throws and mulled cider to warm your insides.
My tablescape starts with this white tablecloth that I folded in half. A big thanks to Paper Mart who proudly sponsored this totally gorgeous animal print wrapping paper. Did I say gorgeous??? It creates the rustic look I was after.
The place setting is a layering of a green placemat, gold charger, a basic white plate and these adorable Christmas tree plates. Since the table top is tiny, I had to squeeze the flatware together and place the napkin in the drinking glass. Not traditional but hey, it works.
How about these dinosaur acorns! I found this tree near my home that produces these babies and I help myself to a few every year. Sorry squirrels, share and share alike. I added the tree bark candle holder for romance and a few picks here and there for an added rustic feel.
When we light the fireplace and wrap our legs with throws, it’s awesome! A game of scrabble is always in order after a delicious meal.
I wrapped my presents in the same animal print paper from Paper Mart. This Grosgrain ribbon is also from Paper Mart and makes the perfect bow. I love this wrapping paper because it can be used for any celebration.
Paper Mart provided me with free products for this post but all opinions, images and thoughts are my own. I have also added some affiliate links for your convenience.
There’s plenty more Merry and Bright at Meg’s place so let’s head over to Green With Decor for our next stop on the tour.
