Happy February! Y’all, I’m back with another adventure of  our vacation in Paris, France. I warned you I have tons of stuff to share with you from our trip to the city of lights. The hubs (Donald), just thought I would name drop in case you were wondering if the hubs is a real person or a fiction character in my blog.

Any howse, we celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary in Paris and I hope to visit again someday soon. You can catch up on our adventures here. I’ve got plenty of pictures and memories to keep me satisfied until my next trip. My dear friend, Malka aka Marilyn, suggested that we take a dinner cruise on the Seine River. Her sissy took the cruise on one of her many trips to Paris and highly recommended that we splurge for this treat.  After researching the cruise, I knew we had to check it out.

The cruise had our name all over it. Delicious French cuisine including a four course meal, champagne, wine, live jazz music and views of the city lights from a glass enclosed boat.  I knew we could not leave Paris without experiencing this romantic voyage.

We made sure we scheduled our dinner just before night fall so we’d be cruising under the lights and stars as they glistened on the water.

The boat was very large and accommodated three areas. We sat smack dab in the middle, I didn’t want to miss a peek. Note: When in Paris, dress up for dinner. Everyone looked so darling and rightfully so. We dined on extra starched linen tablcloths adorned with china and crystal. Ooh la la! is right. I glanced at the hubs and noticed he’d unbuttoned his dress shirt (because he was hot) to expose his under shirt that read “Cancer Survivor” in big bold yellow and white letters! I about screamed but instead, leaned over and told him to button up his shirt!!! Then he put on his hat and I gave up!

The food was delicious! They sure know how to make a mean sauce.

As much as I hate to admit it( with my southern comfort food, roots), French folks know how to COOK! We had so much fun dining and laughing with our nephew who joined us for dinner.

We couldn’t have spent a more lovely evening than cruising the Seine River under the stars and lights of the city.

I hope you enjoy the pictures.
