Did you miss the Spring Thyme Recipes and Style Blog Hop debut last week? No worries, we’re back today with more inspiration for ya and
I’ve attached last weeks (premier-part-1) for your bunny hopping pleasure. Be sure to visit the full tour of homes from the links at the end of this post. Thanks to all who took the tour and left your wonderful comments.
I have to give a big S.O. (shout out) to my friend, Tamyra at Positively Southern for hosting our spring tour. Now enough with all the #rambling! I sure hope you dropped by to see Heather at Totally Tailgates on your way here because if not go back and salivate over the yum she has for your Easter edibles. Now that your belly is aching, come see my springtime tablescape.
When I was mulling over the ideas of my spring tablescape, I knew I wanted the table to scream SPRING and what says Spring more than blue and white! I started with a white cotton tablecloth adorned with soft gold scrollwork.
The place settings include a gold charger and a paper lace placemat. White dishes always brighten a table and match any decor.
I have blue and white dishes but not enough in one pattern for eight place settings so I mixed and matched the dessert dishes and ooh la la, I’m in love with the look.
The crystal dessert compotes are filled with a plaid pastel paper napkin, speckled malted milk eggs and a Lindt Lindor Chocolate Truffle egg.
The center pieces are a collection of vintage milk glass vases filled with a spray of yellow and white fresh spring flowers from Trader Joe’s and since I have Redbud trees blooming in the forest out back, I added a sprig or two.
More touches of spring include these bunny and yellow chick salt and pepper shakers from Cracker Barrel, blue and white sugar & creamer, salt & pepper shakers, fresh lemons piled in a bowl and to add just a touch more texture, I weaved some white tulle between the vases and the table screamed SPRING!
