I often asked myself why I procrastinate when it comes to organization.

I guess it’s seems like a major chore and who wants to spend a day creating a mess into a masterpiece, Right? If you are like me, you think of all the fun things to do and put the organization on the back burner for another day.

I love the art and act of intentional organized living and every time I create another area in my home with a minimalist stamp of the big “O” I exhale! My anxiety lowers and my mind settles into a place of peace.

This is the feeling I experience when I enter my newly organized closet and this is the first time I’ve been able to keep my closet in order by using these simple tips. Tip #1 Group all like colors and garments together for easy eye appeal.

Tip #2 Use like hangers for a uniform clean look.
Tip #3 place your hangers for the clothes you are wearing in a visible place so you will be likely to hang your garments back in their proper place.
Tip #4 Group favorite jewelry together and place in a designated area for easy access.
Tip #5 Expose like color shoes and styles together. Boxes and containers take up more real estate.
Tip #6 purge, purge, purge!
Tip #7 Less is more! Use the rotation method, when something new comes in something old goes out.
