It’s time for a fresh look around the house and my favorite way to spruce up my place is by switching out decor items.

I rely on my vintage treasure chest and it hasn’t failed me yet. Every now and then, I’ll move furniture here and there but it’s so much easier to create a new look with accessories.

Lately, I’ve fallen in love with these vintage tissue holders. I remember every home having one or two when I was growing up and I could never figure out why a piece of paper to blow your nose had such a fancy place to reside.

These gold gems are highly collectible and very decorative. I found this one for $1.99 at Goodwill.

We celebrated our family vacation a few weeks ago and I can’t wait to share our weekend stay at a cabin in the mountains. We had so much fun that we are already planning next years gathering. While there, my sissy gifted me this gorgeous pitcher set for my nightstand.

She knows I’m a sucker for pink and a vintage thrift score.

My last love couldn’t fit in my treasure chest since it is a chest so I use it for storing my evening bags.

This is the perfect place to store these bags since I reach for them only on special occasions.

I’ve moved the chest to my closet and I’m enjoying the colorful addition to my favorite space in my home.

This chest was also a Goodwill find for $24.00. It’s hand painted, solid wood with wrought iron legs. I’ll be out and about thrifting for more great finds and sharing them with you.

Until next time,

Enjoy!
