I have a fetish for chairs! I really can’t explain my love for four legs and a seat. It’s so hard passing by a chair without talking myself out of bringing it home so before I make my purchase,

I promise myself that I will make them pretty then sell them to other chair fetish people.

I love chairs because they don’t take up a lot of real estate, they can be moved around easily, multi functional and not to mention they are so darn cute. When I spotted these fraternal twins, I knew they would come home with me and get a fresh coat of paint.

Once I got them home and started to clean the wood with Murphy’s Oil Soap, I knew these lovelies would not be happy covered in paint so I decided to clean them real good, allow them to dry then oil them down in Old English(light) to bring out their original beauty. They drank up the oil and started to shine like new pennies! Ahh…look what a little elbow grease and oil will do.


This one has a design in the seat that looks like a shell and that’s why I call them fraternal twins.

The bentwood is so pretty and these chairs are very sturdy for their petite size.

They can be used for extra seating or to store books or whatnots on. Paint is good but wood is good too.
