This time last week, the weather was whispering “fall is in the air” and this week we’re back to wearing flip flops.


I’ve already transitioned my closet from summer to fall with finicky weather in mind (here) and I’ve been shopping for pieces to add to my fall wardrobe. This plaid 3/4 length sleeve top is a new find from TJ Maxx.

I wore this top last week with a pair of palazzo pants and today I’m wearing it with ponte pants.

I love how it works with any garment including skirts and it’s light enough to wear during seasonal changes. Once the weather changes for good, I’ll just layer with a turtle neck underneath for added warmth.

I was excited to find a red top since I gravitate to black. These wine colored red sandals are comfortable and I wear them when I want to add height without the pain of stiletto heels.

I added these red and rhinestone bangles my nephew gifted me from India and I piled on the arm jingle and silver loop earrings. I’m wearing YSL 1 lipstick color. Tip: Red lips are classic and look like you have a pocketbook full of $$$$

Today’s OOTD was easy breezy and one I will be wearing often this season.
