One easy way I welcome seasonal change into my home is by way of my coffee table. My sitting area, once dining area is very cozy aka tiny so I had to find a coffee table that would be small enough to slide right into the space without taking up too much real estate.

I knew the table had to be rectangular in order to work and as luck would have it, I already had the perfect table sitting in my bedroom.

I found this coffee table at an antique store long before we moved into our forever home for $30 something and I had no place to store it at the time since we were in transit waiting for our home to be completed. I asked my friend and shop owner if I could store the table at her place until we moved (six months) and she graciously agreed.

This is the funny part, Once we got all moved in, I completely forgot about this table until my friend who was with me when I purchased the table asked me if I ever picked up the table. Duh…#toomuchjunk. I fell in  love with this table at first glance especially with the animal print fabric already installed under the glass.

All I had to do was plop it into place and it’s been with me for over 10 years. I gathered some books from around the house and stacked them at one end of the table.

This gorgeous leaf tray is perfect for holding #thedollartree pumpkins and a spicy smelling candle from #bathandbodyworks (Nook).

I’m in love with Wedgewood Biscuit Barrels and I only have one because they are so outrageously priced. I happened to luck up on this one at an antique shop for $30 something and it’s only because it was filthy and the shop owner was too lazy to clean her up.

Tip: Don’t pass on repairable finds. My fall coffee table came together with a few items I already own and a new magazine.
