This is the second blog about my trip to Europe. The first was Rome. We spent more time in Barcelona than in Rome, so I feel a bit partial to Barcelona since I had the opportunity to embrace the spirit and culture of the wonderful people there. As much as I love my America, I have to admit, Europe has it going on when it comes to preserving history. There is eye candy around every corner. Let’s spend a day with Antoni (Antonio) Gaudi, the famous Spanish architect from 1855-1926. Antoni is famous for several historic buildings in Barcelona including Park Güell and Basilica I Temple Expiatori de la Sagrada Familia.

Simple dishes with herbs and seasonings that made the food taste unbelievable. I hope you enjoy these pictures and get a feel for the beauty that lies by the Mediterranean Sea.
