All this cold weather makes me crave for long hot summer days with BBQ sizzling on the grill. Our grill is covered with a blanket of snow and the patio is a sheet of ice but that doesn’t stop the show when I want ribs. This recipe is really not a recipe; just pull a couple slabs of ribs from your freezer, un-thaw, and pull out your BBQ seasonings. Slide the ribs in the oven and before you can say “jack rabbit”, you will be chowing down on rib sandwiches. Notice, a bone has already be removed from one of the rack of ribs. I wonder by whom?

Ingredients:
2 slab ribs
1 large onion
Seasonings- salt, pepper, paprika, season salt, unsalted meat tenderizer, liquid smoke, and whatever you want to add.
Directions:
Rub the ribs with the seasonings. Slice the onion and lay the ribs on top of the onions. Cover with foil and bake on 325 degrees for 1.5 hours. Remove the foil, braise with juices from the ribs and onions. Cook for another 30 minutes or until ribs are tender.
