I hope you got a chance to check out the sandals I found for you here, after all the love comments about the sandals I wore here , for last week’s closet tips. I know you will love the sandals I picked out for you. Today, I thought I would share my newly organized makeup drawer since makeup is part of my wardrobe; plus, I finally took some time to purge all the old, crappy, don’t like, why did I buy this…Makeup and got real with what I really use every day.

Let’s face it, who applies their makeup different every day? Maybe a change in eye color but that’s about it for me. Once I got rid of the stuff I wasn’t using, I feel like I’m a makeup artist in training. I can find what I need without having to dig through piles of rejects. Now I can apply a little war paint, then I’m back in my closet mixing and matching outfits.

Check out this drawer organizer. It’s perfect and fits snug inside this drawer. You can find them at The Container Store. I got mine years ago at TJMax. The size is pretty standard because this organizer fit the drawer at my previous home. Tip: look in the kitchen section; you can find organizers there too. I have a place for my pencils, eye shadows and my weakness; lipstick.

I keep my makeup brushes in a vase and the extra ones at the back of the drawer. To make them stand up; I added some pebbles to the bottom of the vase. Try purging your make up drawer if for no other reason than to have an excuse for buying that new shade of lavender eye shadow.
