One of my favorite dinnerware patterns is Fiesta by Homer Laughlin. Since the first introduction in 1936, they have produced 38 colors, some of which have since retired. What I find so intriguing about Fiesta is the durability and the fanfare it brings to a table setting. You can mix and match your favorite colors or create a monochromatic look with colors in the same hue like white and cream. Best of all, Fiesta is Made In America and that seals the deal for me. Whenever possible, I try to purchase items made here in America. It just feels good. Some stores carry the complete place setting or you can purchase open stock items. The dinner plates are nice but I love the platters because they come in two sizes and the shape is oval. Here are a few colors for inspiration. For more information on the history of Fiesta and the Homer Laughlin Company check out this cool website. You can also purchase items from the site as well.

Enjoy,

MJ
