Hey y’all! This past weekend was autumn picture perfect. Blissful blue skies, 70 degree temps and rusty leaves falling from the trees.

I stayed in the streets all weekend soaking up the awesomeness of this season. It’s time to set my Thanksgiving table for my family who will be joining me for another holiday feast. I look forward to spending time with my folks and creating a lovely tablescape for us to bow our heads and say grace.

I was so excited when I ran across this pinecone and twig garland at Goodwill. I couldn’t believe my luck and to find two of them for $2.49 each was incredible. They are in mint condition and I instantly knew they would be my jumping off point for my Rustic Thanksgiving tablescape.

I shopped my cupboards for these white dinner plates, placemats, goblets, napkins and rings. Then I headed to Home Goods in hopes of finding some cheap dessert plates. Lucky me, I scored with these gorgeous gold metallic plates, four for $7.99.

These plates add a little glitz to my scape and I love knowing that they are handmade by Turkish Masters. Amazingly this table runner ended up in my basket! It’s the perfect muted gold and the frayed edges add to the rustic feel I’m going for.

I’ll add fresh fruit and round up a bunch of plants from my yard for the finishing touches. I can’t wait to share my rustic/glitz Thanksgiving table in a future post.
