I am so excited to share the gift my hubby gave me for Mother’s Day and apparently he was too because he gave it to me a week early. After two years of blogging and taking pictures with my point and shoot camera, along with my cell phone, I got an EOS camera and I absolutely love it! When I opened the box, I was overwhelmed at all the gadgets inside so I closed the box and told myself I need a fresh mind to tackle all the goodies inside.

I finally sat down to watch the DVD and I realized in a snap I needed to learn the old fashion way so I pulled out the manual/instruction booklet and got down to brass tacks. I’m old school and comprehend best when I’ve read the material. Once I got the gist of operating the camera, I stopped reading because it started getting a little too techy for me. There’s a lot  more professional photography lingo to learn but for now, I can take pictures and I’m tickled pink. Donald took some pictures of me while I was taking pictures with my new camera. I took pictures of my neighbors E&C’s and B&K’s gorgeous pools and pictures around my yard.
Here are some of my shots taken with the EOS camera. Cleo and Peanut jumped in for a little fame too. The pictures in my last few posts here and here  were taken with my new toy. I hope your Mama’s Day is filled with love laughter and lots of joy.
