#brownie recipe#cream cheese brownies

Brownies are the best chocolate fix next to a full blown chocolate cake with layers. If you are a chocolate lover like me, these brownies will steal your heart; they are extra moist with a baked cream cheese topping that will have your Framily ( friends and family) begging for the recipe. This recipe takes less than 15  minutes to prepare so be sure to invite plenty of folks around to gobble up and removed these addicting little squares from your possession.

I shared a golden brownie version of this recipe, Bayou Brownies here and I received tons of thumbs up from you. This is the chocolate version of the same recipe, named 175 Cake. Don’t let the name of these brownies detour you from whipping up a batch and to help you with that, I’m changing the name to Dream Brownies…ahh that’s better. Try both versions and let me know which one is your favorite.
Ingredients:
1 box Devil’s Food cake mix
3 eggs
1 stick butter
1 6oz pkg. chocolate chips
1 cup chopped nuts
4 cup powdered sugar
1 8oz pkg. softened cream cheese
Directions:
Preheat oven 350 degrees. Spray a 9×13 inch pan with non-stick cooking spray; set aside.
Mix cake mix, 1 egg and butter together (dough will be stiff, but mix thoroughly); spread mixture into the prepared pan; Top with chocolate chips and nuts.
In a separate bowl mix powdered sugar, 2 eggs and cream cheese; pour over cake mixture.
Bake for 25 minutes or until lightly brown. Do not overbake. Cool before cutting.
