I hope your week has started off with a bang and your weekend was filled with friends and family, eating lots of summertime yummies and using lots of sunscreen; cause it’s hot outside, y’all. The hubs and I took a road trip to Round Top, TX back in the spring and had a blast. Read all about our crazy eventful trip in chapter one, two and three. The Round Top Fall Antiques fair is in September so start planning your shopping extravaganza now. On our way home from the fair, we stopped at Buzzard Billy’s in Waco, TX, for dinner.

Now don’t let the name steer you away from some, of the best seafood in Waco. I have to admit we were leery at first because the name Buzzard didn’t sound too appetizing but we were hungry and all we focused on was Seafood. Buzzard Billy’s is located right off I35S on The Brazos River.

We set outside to take in the views of the sunset but it was springtime, I wouldn’t recommend patio dining now with all the 100 degree weather were having in Texas but they have lots of room inside where the AC is cool and the beer is cooler.#crawfishfettuccine#oystersonthehalfshell#shrimpetouffee#crawfishboil#crawfishboil
You can tell we wanted to sample most of the entrees from these mouth- watering dishes. The waiter twisted our arms into trying their blackberry margarita which we gladly accepted the challenge and would have had seconds if we didn’t have another two hour drive home.

Next time you’re headed down I35S from Dallas or driving I35N from San Antonio, try Buzzard Billy’s for a seafood sensation. #buzzardbillys#cajun#creole#waco
