Its Friday folks and I’m so glad I don’t have anything major planned for the weekend. The forecast is predicting 100+ degree temperatures in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. In preparation for this record breaking event, Donald placed a fresh cut watermelon in the fridge to nibble on over the weekend. Our plan is to run for AC cover and plenty of iced cold water. I will sneak out of the house and tuck my head in a few of my favorite thrift stores while soaking up their AC(one of my mama’s tricks). I’ll have my bargain radar tuned up with hopes of finding a few of my favorite things. Wish me luck.

I love linens with hand embroidery. So I will be looking for a good bargain on linens.

I have a new obsession for blue and white ceramic pieces. I hope I find the perfect ginger jar to sit around the house. The ultimate find would be a vintage Persian rug for a steal. Have a wonderful weekend and stay cool.
