#cake balls chocolate cake balls #cookie cake balls
Yeah, it’s Friday! I’m just trying to pump myself up for the busy weekend I have planned. If you are like me, I’m sure you have a “to-do” list that will put Santa’s list to shame. I have more decorating, a party to attend, shopping…okay, you get my drift. I posted these Cookie Cake Balls last year and they were such a hit, I thought you would enjoy an easy recipe to gift and give away. They are easy sneezy and you never have to turn on your oven. Swing by the market and grab a few ingredients. In no time, you will have a batch of gourmet cake balls. Have a wonderful weekend and come back next week for more holiday cheer and another  Merry and Bright Holiday Home Tour. Follow our #merryandbrightholidayhome to get the inside scoop.

Ingredients:
1 package of Golden Oreo’s (or any other sandwich cookie of your choice)
1 package of cream cheese (room temperature)

Almond Bark (white chocolate)
Chocolate Almond Bark
Directions:
Take the cookies, break them into pieces then place them in your food processor. Cut the cream cheese in four sections and add them to the cookies.
Pulsate the cookies until they blend together to resemble cookie dough.

Use a cookie scoop (I used a medium size). Place one scoop of dough in your hands and roll the dough into a ball. Place the balls on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Place the cookie sheet in the refrigerator for about 45 minutes, to firm up.
Melt the white almond bark in a double boiler. Stick a toothpick in the ball and dip each ball in the chocolate, making sure you coat ball completely. Place the ball back on the parchment paper. Melt the chocolate bark in the same manner. Dip a fork in the melted chocolate and drizzle over the top of the balls. Refrigerate for one hour or overnight.
Enjoy,
MJ
