Happy June Everyone! Whew! I’m tired from all the fun we had over the weekend. The Celebration of Life Party, was a success with over 60 family and friends helping us to celebrate. If you missed the post on our annual Celebration of Life Party, you can read about it here. The house guest have finally cleared out and the house sounds and feels empty, which makes me sad. I love all the hustle and bustle of a full house, don’t you?
It’s been raining for weeks here, so we’ve been camping out on our porches to watch the rain. We hope to enjoy lots of company all summer and we love to entertain outside. Our front porch is covered and adequate enough to seat four to six adults; if we squeeze in “real” close.
I kept the same patio set that I’ve had for over 10 years. I can’t believe it has held up so well. The material is a plastic resin and made to look like wicker.
This motel chair needs a paint job but I kinda like it looking rusty. It is super sturdy so I’ll be keeping it around and perhaps one day, I’ll break down and give it a paint job.
I just love this milk glass pitcher and tumblers I got for a steal on my road trip to Round Top Antique Fair.
This wall tin was in my guest bathroom until I replaced it with my newly painted secretary . I had to find another home for it and the front porch was perfect venue.
I think it’s high time I add some spring and summer color to my front door with eye catching Sunflowers. I picked up some faux flowers from Hobby Lobby, stuffed them in this wall basket from Goodwill for $1.99 (basket) and now I have a pop of color to beckon you inside.
All I need is some snicky-snacks and I’ll be set for a lazy afternoon on the front porch.
Hello June 2016
